Everyone gravitates to authenticity no matter how ‘cringe’y it might be sometimes. Fake authenticity is so painful. If I am around anyone who does it I tune everything about them out. Also kind of makes me feel sad for them.
For better or worse the more open you are with who you are the more you’ll attract people. Not everyone. Don’t fool yourself into believing that everyone will like what you say, how you act, etc but the ones that do will truly gravitate to you.
Why do I say this for business? How do you write your own authentic self into the work story?

Take the top qualities you want in yourself and your teammates and focus solely on them. Have conviction about being a good communicator or resiliency and write that script every day for yourself and others.
This is an exercise to look inward and not be afraid to know what the qualities you don't like of yourself to put aside and work on but the ones you believe to be true....grow and show.
You’ll see the change when you always go back to the pillars of what you truly believe to be the authentic pieces of yourself and ultimately your business.
