How do this market recover from some of the chaos that has happened during the….well….let’s face it….s**tstorm we call the 2000’s+?

In the U S of A there is something called the NCMM. The National Center for the Middle Market. They’ve been tracking companies between 10million and 1 billion since 2012.
Many leaders of middle market companies are challenged by employee communications, engagement and productivity (51%) and customer engagement (45%)
How do mid size companies thrive during this uncertain time? In the past they have been good at capital, expertise and time but moving forward the digitization of their services is key.
Investing in IT is usually for privacy and day to day activities but the transformation needs to start in a ‘digital vision’

How does this occur with limited resources? What questions should be asked for digital transformation?
1. What We Sell – product and service offerings
2. How We Produce It – supply chain, manufacturing, operations
3. How We Sell It – customer experience, channels, marketing
4. Our IT Backbone – infrastructure, security
5. Our Workforce – talent, digital skills
To narrow it down even further the focus should be on customer engagement (using the right tools for more customer interaction and marketing them) and talent acquisition (finding the most qualified people for the ever changing IT direction).
Transforming is more than meets the eye.
