In one of my videos I mentioned that people wear masks to hide some poor behaviour behind them but there's a different kind of mask that people might not even realize that they are wearing. They wear them and they are looking right at themselves.

Imposter syndrome is common and can happen at any point in a persons life. We aren't talking about this masked singer show (still can't wrap my head around that one but I digress).
There was a study that showed this syndrome happened predominately in women but men experience it as well.
The idea of not feeling like you deserve your accomplishments. Luck? Circumstance?
As I mentioned earlier I believe there's a case to be made that at some point even the most egotistical, self centered person has gone through it. I know you feel like 'no way not him or her' but believe me...there's a point in life where they have felt they were a fraud.
So now that we've established we've all suffered this syndrome at some point or constantly...how do we make sure we control it or stop it?
Are you perfect? You are great but guess what? You're not perfect. So, you're not perfect then take your perfectionist idealism and realize that you won't always succeed 100% of the time. You're not an imposter.
Are you an expert? I'm sure you have expertise in your field and might be considered tops but are you an all encompassing expert that transcends whatever field you're in? No...so when you don't understand something you're not an imposter.
You got to this point in your life all by yourself? You did this completely alone? No...so the next time you think you ask for help that you're weak...you're not. You're not an imposter.
You're a superhero right? You can literally do everything for everyone at all times? You always have to accomplish something? You work hard then anyone else on the planet? No. So the next time you are not constantly pretending to be superhuman...you're not an imposter.
You are you and that is just fine.
