Ever been in a meeting and feeling like the decisions being made are...not going to end up well?
Do you sit quietly and let the group ruminate over their ideas? You know they are intelligent (somewhat) so you allow it to continue? You don't want to be perceived as negative but you know you should say something...yet you don't. You don't speak.

Being in a boardroom with your team can become too 'comfortable'. Almost like a warm nest. Especially when the more dominant players are making decisions. You don't need to rock the boat because you might get kicked out of the nest. No nest...no fun.
So let's understand why you wouldn't say anything? Fear? Of course. Maybe your thought on the decision might make you look less intelligent than others?
Maybe you realize that this next step is going to happen irregardless of what you say?
That the 'group' mentality has always been there and when something is tabled everyone gravitates to that decision. Mob mentality. Happens in many facets of life.
What is the worst case scenario for you? The group doesn't agree? The group will not throw you out of the boardroom(zoom call) unless you really do something 'whacky'.
The idea of having a constant unanimous decision on any topic is very detrimental to business. Very detrimental to the psyche of your team. The inability to question can lead a business down some very narrow paths that they will have a hard time getting out of...if they can...ever.
Do not question for the 'sake' of questioning a decision but make sure that the group thought process isn't constantly in a state of 'YES!!!! LOVE IT!!!' Following smart people is fine...to a point. If you follow too much you lose your....'bahhhhhhhh' self.
